Jennie Kolter PTO gives the flexibility to volunteer by needs, talents, interests, and/or time constraints. Needs, talents, and interests will fulfill your niche while time will allow the opportunity to take part in an event that fits your schedule. Whether you join the PTO or just want to volunteer at school, the first step in volunteering is to get approved by HISD to be a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS). SIGN UP NOW: Our PTO is using a web-based tool, PTO Manager, to help us manage all our volunteer information. This tool makes is easier than ever for you to view event details, volunteer for events and email Event Chairs directly. It allows the PTO, whether it is the Board, Committee Chairs or Room Parents, to communicate with you through email.

• Not ready to volunteer - Go ahead and fill out your contact information and information on your child so that the PTO can communicate with you using this tool. The information may also be used to quickly and accurately create our school directory.
  
• Volunteer Form - You may also sign up to volunteer by completing the PTO — VIPS Volunteer form found belowand returning it to your child's homeroom teacher or leaving it in the PTO box.
  
• No computer - If you do not have access to a computer you may use one in the school library.
