Currie Heidt has two kids at Kolter.  Emilia who will be in 1st grade and Henry who will be in 3rd grade.  Currie is on the PTO Board this year as the VP of Community Relations.  She has Chaired several committees including Boosterthon for two years and Welcoming this year along with volunteering at multiple events for the past 3 years.  Currie is an Interior Designer and lives in Meyerland with her husband David and children.

VP of Volunteer Recruitment - Megan Ellis

She has been an active member of the PTO for the past three years serving as a room parent since 2020 and Field Day co-chair since 2022. You will also find her volunteering in the Kolter’s front office and throughout the school on various committees. Megan is originally from Fort Worth, Texas, but has called Houston home for the past 12 years. She has a major in Psychology from Texas Tech University, and was previously an 8th grade science teacher and coach before becoming a stay at home mom. Megan is an avid runner, so if you don’t see her volunteering at Kolter or cheering from the stands at the little league baseball fields, you will most likely find her running throughout the neighborhood. Megan looks forward to joining the Board this year!

Simret is a returning PTO board member serving for the 2nd year in the same role.  In past years she has served as a room parent, GLC and welcome committee co-chair.  She lives in the Meyerland community with her husband Nebil and their kids Lucas (5th grade) and Layla (4 year old, future cougar).  Houston has been home now for 14 years, but she's originally from Dallas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin.  She looks forward to many more years of supporting our Kolter community!

Treasurer - Erin Troff

Hi, I am Erin Troff. My daughter, Robyn, has been at Kolter for the last 2 years. She is entering 1st grade and my son, Fritz, will be in kinder. Last year, I  was co-chair of the spirit wear committee and welcoming committee, and chair of the library. I volunteer whenever I can get away from work including boosterthon and field day. I was born and raised in Westbury and actually graduated from Kolter in 1998! I then went to Johnston middle school (now Meyerland) and graduated from Bellaire high school. In my spare time I love to complete puzzles, play board games, and I have a very unhealthy obsession with Glee and musicals in general. My husband and I own Chimney Rock Car Care, an auto repair shop in the galleria area. We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary in March!

Treasurer - Andrea Kahle

Andrea is a mom to 3 boys and 2 dogs. She has 3 boys in 4th grade and 1st, and entering Pre-K at Kolter. Since Andrea’s kids have been at Kolter, she has volunteered as a room parent, participated in multiple PTO committees including Book Fair and Teacher Appreciation, assisted with numerous school events, and helped with classroom copies, laminating and more! Andrea is a native Houstonian and graduated from The University of Texas in Business Honors and Finance. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom during the pandemic, Andrea was a legal business consultant and project manager focused on process improvement, software implementations, resource optimization and internal training material development. When not helping at school or shuttling the kids around from one activity to the next, Andrea can often be found at the baseball field cheering on her favorite 3 players!

Campus Relations - Emily Dolina

Emily has two amazing kiddos, Elliott (First Grade) and Emmett (Age 2), and an awesome husband, Scott. She has been an active member of the PTO for the past two years serving as a T-Shirt Committee Co-Chair (2021) and room parent (2022). Emily grew up in Tuttle, Oklahoma, and attended the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER) for her B.A. in Political Science as well as the OU College of Law for her J.D, where she specialized in Federal Indian Law. Before relocating to Houston from Norman, Oklahoma in 2020, Emily was in-house counsel for her Native American tribe, the Chickasaw Nation, for 11 years. Emily enjoys traveling, cooking and eating, and climbing the leaderboard on any Peloton ride she can take. She is so excited to serve on the PTO Board and continue to get to know the amazing Kolter staff, students, parents, and fellow volunteers!

Secretary - Daniell Davis

This is Daniell’s third year as an active member of the PTO. She previously Co-Chaired the Spiritwear Committee during the 2021-2022 school year and served as the Gala Committee Chair during the 2022-2023 year. Daniell is excited to join the Board this year as Secretary and will also continue chairing the 2023-2024 Gala Committee. She and her husband Bryan are both Houston natives and they are parents of four including two current Kolter Cougars.  Professionally, Daniell negotiates real estate transactions in her role as Sr. Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston.  Prior to joining the city she had a solo practice for 12 years in which she focused on real estate, corporate finance, divorce and entertainment law.  She is licensed to practice law in Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Washington D.C. and she is also a licensed Texas real estate agent. In her spare time Daniell loves to hang out with her family and friends, attend concerts and the theatre.  She’s a peloton rider, wanna be travel blogger and will escape to the beach anytime the opportunity arises.
